Mysore
A good place to start would be Mysore palace and work your way around. Mysore is noted for its heritage structures and palaces, including the Mysore Palace, and for the festivities that take place during the Dasara festival when the city receives a large number of tourists from across the world.

Madikeri (Coorg)
Madikeri is the district headquarters of coorg and is about 120 Kms from Mysore, called the scotland of Karnataka, it lives upto it’s name. There are many tourist attraction on the way to Madikeri ex: Buddhist Monastery at Kushalnagar, Elephant camp and water rafting at Dubare etc. Plan your trip accordingly.

Waynad
Wayanad District is a district in the north-east of Kerala state, India with headquarters at the town of Kalpetta. The district was formed on 1 November 1980 as the 12th district in Kerala by carving out areas from Kozhikode and Kannur districts. The district is 3.79% urbanised, with three municipal towns Kalpetta, Mananthavady and Sulthan Bathery.

Ooty
Ooty is around 130 Kms from Mysore. It is called the queen of Nigiris. The cold weather, fresh tea, Breathtaking views, Botanical gardens are few of the tourist attractions. Ooty is situated in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Many of the forested areas and water bodies are off-limits to most visitors to protect this fragile ecosystem.
